1. Acceptance of Terms
By carrying out a commercial transaction with Shelter, the customer expresses his/her agreement and full acceptance of these terms and conditions. It is recommended that you read them carefully and in advance before making any purchase.
2. Orders and Payments
All orders are subject to product availability and approval by Shelter’s finance department.
Full payment of the invoiced amount is a mandatory requirement for completing the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
3. Delivery
Shelter will endeavour to ensure delivery of the products ordered within the stipulated deadlines. However, it is exempt from liability for any delays arising from circumstances beyond its control.
Shipping costs will be calculated at the time of the transaction and added to the total order value.
4. Warranty
All products sold by Shelter are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, as specified in the relevant documentation supplied with the product.
This warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligence or natural wear and tear.
5. Exchanges and Returns
Shelter does not accept exchanges or returns of products after the invoice has been issued, except in cases expressly provided for by current legislation.
In the event of a manufacturing defect or non-compliance with the order, the customer must inform Shelter immediately so that the appropriate measures can be taken.
6. Customer Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the products are suitable for their needs before purchasing them.
Any doubts or questions regarding the products must be clarified with Shelter before making the purchase.
7. Changes to the Terms
Shelter reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time, with prior notice to customers.
Continued use of the Shelter website and completion of transactions after such changes are implemented will be deemed acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the court of the district of Porto will have jurisdiction.
